Swing band for hire in Denmark
The Jivers is a seven piece band playing high energy jump ’n’ jive and swing, driven by a tight rhythm section and a horn section with bold solos.
The music
The repertoire draws mainly on Louis Jordan, Brian Setzer and Louis Prima, including “Just a Gigolo” and “Oh Marie”. The sets also feature songs by Frank Sinatra, Cab Calloway, the Blues Brothers and Nat King Cole.
The band arrives in suits with polished shoes and polished horns, a natural fit for 1940s and 1950s theme parties, ballroom events and any party where people came to dance.
